Envoy brings the Volkswagen ID.4 to Seattle: a New Chapter at Atrium Court Apartments
Seattle has long embraced forward-thinking transportation, and Envoy is proud to continue growing in this market with a meaningful milestone. We are thrilled to announce the deployment of the Volkswagen ID.4 at Atrium Court Apartments in Seattle, Washington, marking the first time this vehicle has joined the Envoy fleet. Residents at Atrium Court now have on-demand access to one of the most talked-about electric SUVs on the market, included as part of their building’s amenity program.

Introducing the Volkswagen ID.4
The ID.4 is Volkswagen’s flagship all-electric compact SUV, and for good reason. Named the World Car of the Year in 2021, the ID.4 has continued to evolve with each model year, earning a reputation as one of the most well-rounded EVs available today.
Here is what makes it stand out:
Range and Charging: The ID.4 Pro trim delivers an EPA-estimated 291 miles of range on a single charge. For members who need a quick top-up between trips, the ID.4 supports DC fast charging at up to 175 kW, getting from 10 to 80 percent battery in approximately 28 minutes. For everyday use through a Level 2 charger, a full charge takes around eight hours overnight.
Space and Versatility: The ID.4 offers 30.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 64.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. Whether you are heading to Pike Place Market, loading up after a Costco run, or taking a weekend trip to the Olympic Peninsula, there is room for what matters.
Technology and Comfort: The cabin centers around a 12.9-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation, voice control, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Standard features include wireless device charging, heated front seats, adjustable ambient lighting, and a driver assistance suite that covers adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, active lane control, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection.
Safety: The ID.4 earned a five-star NHTSA safety rating and an IIHS Top Safety Pick award, giving both drivers and property managers confidence in the vehicle’s reliability and protection.
Performance: The rear-wheel drive model produces 282 horsepower, while AWD variants generate up to 335 horsepower with a 0-to-60 time of 4.9 seconds.
The ID.4 was designed to be, in Volkswagen’s own words, a car for “the millions, not the millionaires,” and that philosophy fits perfectly with what Envoy is built to do: make premium electric vehicle access a shared experience rather than an individual ownership burden.
Why Property Teams in Seattle Are Choosing Envoy
Seattle sits at the intersection of strong transit infrastructure, high EV adoption rates, and a resident population that increasingly questions whether owning a personal vehicle is worth it. For property management teams, Envoy provides a turnkey car-sharing program that includes the vehicle, charging infrastructure, insurance, maintenance, and a white-glove member experience.
Properties that partner with Envoy are seeing a tangible amenity that attracts and retains residents, differentiates the building from competitors, and supports the operational goals of modern multifamily communities. As new developments in the region continue to respond to changing parking requirements and resident preferences, shared EV programs are becoming part of the standard conversation during lease-up planning.
Nominate Your Property
If you live at a Seattle-area apartment, hotel, or workplace that does not yet have an Envoy program, you can change that. We review property nominations regularly and work with management teams to evaluate fit and launch timelines. The process starts with a conversation.
Nominate your property at www.envoythere.com/nominate and let your management team know you are interested. If you represent a property or portfolio and want to explore what a program looks like operationally and financially, reach out to our team directly at sales@envoythere.com.
Seattle’s momentum is building. We are glad to be part of it.
