HOW TO ENVOY

The goal of Envoy is total simplicity. When you need a car, it’s ready for you. When you don’t need it, you don’t have to think about it. No car payments, no buying gas, no insurance, no maintenance, no cleaning… Just a sweet ride to get you where you want to go whenever you want it

GET GOING

HOW IT WORKS:

REGISTER

Create an account and register with a valid driver's license and credit card.

ADD LOCATION

Add your location and input the location code that will be provided by your property management/leasing office or upload a utility bill as proof of address.

RESERVE

Book your electric vehicle by the hour or the day! Select the date and times for your trip, then pick your preferred vehicle from the available options.

UNLOCK

Report any previous damage so you’re not liable. Press Start to begin your trip and unlock the car. During your ride, use the app to unlock and lock.

END RESEVATION

Return the vehicle to its designated parking space, plug the charger into the car, report any new damage, and follow the prompts on the Envoy app to end your trip.

Gear Shifter​

Push Up = Reverse

Pull Down = Drive

Push In = Park

Charge Port

Tesla charge ports are part of the left back tail light. Tap the light, or open port from the touch screen.

Touch Screen

Unlock doors, unlock charge port, navigate to destination, find chargers...pretty much everything! If you get "Tap Card message, press unlock Envoy app.

OVERVIEW

Charging your Tesla is easy but there are a few things that are good to know.

IDLE FEES AT SUPERCHARGING

Currently, Envoy is covering the cost of supercharging Envoy vehicles. However, the driver is responsible for any idle fees so make sure you're monitoring your charging sessions.

TESLA ADAPTER

An adapter is required to charge a Tesla at a non-Tesla charging station. Simply slide adapter onto end of charging handle and insert into vehicle charge port.

Each Envoy vehicle comes with an adapter. Keep with vehicle. $100 fine if lost. 

If you're in need of a charge on the go, use the Tesla touch screen to locate a Tesla charger nearby.

BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR

Envoy vehicles are shared only among you and your neighbors, so be a good neighbor, and wipe down your ride. Learn more about how Envoy and our partners are doing our part to keep us all safe.

WASH HANDS

Practice good hygiene, wash your hands before and after using Envoy, and cover your mouth.

keep car clean

Wipe down the steering wheel and other "touch surfaces" before and after using. Remove all trash.

KEEP DISTANCE

Keep at least 6 feet apart from others. This means do not drive/ride with others you do not live with.

FOLLOW CDC

Follow the CDC and government guidelines to keep us all healthy and safe.
