FREQUENT QUESTIONS
How do EV's work?
Electric vehicles operate almost exactly like gas-powered vehicles except they're quiet, quick, and a blast to drive. Here are the basics of what you need to know including how to start, drive, charge, and how far you can go:
Do I need a driver's license?
Yes, a valid drivers license is required. Simply upload your license in the app during registration.
Envoy provides basic vehicle insurance though so you do not need to have your own.
Drivers must be at least 21 years old.
How does payment work?
Envoy accepts most credit and debit cards including some prepaid cards. Inquire with your community outreach coordinators about obtaining credit/debit cards as well as potential transportation wallet opportunities.
