How to Envoy!

How Do I Get Going?

  1. Download The Envoy There app

  2. Register your account and upload your driver's license and credit/debit card.

  3. Unlock the car using the Envoy There app or an Envoy Key Coin. Make sure to unplug the charger. If the charger is stuck, press the "unlock" button twice inside the driver's side door.

  4. Once in the vehicle, press your foot on the brake pedal and press the start button. Remember! The car won't make noise. The dashboard will light up, signaling that the vehicle is operable. Put the gear shift into drive and you're good to go!

See instructional videos for each vehicle type on our Fleet page.

How does Charging work?

These battery-powered wheels can get you quite far on a full charge depending on driving behavior (see Fleet page for range per car model). Each vehicle will display the real-time estimated miles of charge on the dashboard. Make sure to check the current range when entering the vehicle.  Charging is free at the vehicle's home dedicated charger. The driver is responsible for charging in the wild - don't worry, it's MUCH cheaper than gas. For charging on the go, search "charging stations" in Google Maps to find one nearby. It's also a good idea to download the most popular charging station apps before starting your drive.

Learn more on our Charging Page.

What Do I Do When I Get Back?

1. Put the vehicle's gear shift into park.

2. Press your foot on the brake pedal and press the stop button.

3. Plug the charger into the vehicle and follow any prompts on charging station to start charging session.

4. Be a good neighbor: remove your personal belongings and all trash!

5. End your reservation within the Envoy There app.
