More About Envoy

As you know, great amenities are essential to attract and retain quality residents. Envoy is a low cost (possibly revenue generating) and low square footage amenity that has measurable utilization and ROI. It is also a great lease-up tool and helps increase tenant retention. Just think -  “Rent an apartment, get a Tesla.” Further, Envoy's shared EV’s and charging infrastructure future-proof your property and maximize the efficiency of your parking through utility incentives and further monetization strategies.

What's the cost?

The Greystar Innovation Team has already included pricing details in the "Building- Common Areas" section of Greystar's “2020 Property budget assumptions and preferred suppliers reference guide”. Typically, your Envoy amenity fee ranges from $800 (Nissan Leaf) to $1,300 (Tesla Model 3) to $2,400 (Tesla Model X) per vehicle per month (click here to see full vehicle menu).  This fee includes the full turnkey solution: electric vehicles, Level 2 EV charging stations for your Envoy vehicles, a full-service mobile app, insurance, ownership indemnification, maintenance, roadside assistance, biweekly waterless car washing, as well as real-time 24/7 customer service.  Envoy’s standard business model shares revenue from utilization back to the property to offset this cost and potentially generate revenue. Residents pay as low as $0.15/min for a Nissan Leaf to $0.50 / min for a Tesla Model X. Daily max rates can also apply.

More About ChargePoint

ChargePoint: Increase Property Value and Meet Demand

Electricity is on track to become the dominant fuel for moving people and goods around the world.

As electric vehicles (EV) adoption increases, EV drivers will choose the apartment communities that meet their charging needs - and they are willing to pay for it. A recent AMLI survey found that 59% of respondents said they would pay more to live in a “green or sustainable community.”

EV charging is essential to modern, premium properties as EVs continue to become mainstream. Making your property EV-ready attracts higher paying residents, increasing average rents, occupancy rates, and property value.
